An exploration into why people believe certain things to be particularly unlucky or lucky.

I created a book upon the topic which had a dos-a-dos bind, one side being lucky and the reverse being unlucky. Each belief is explained, with a small history of the superstition.

I combined my photography with illustrative elements to create the imagery.
